Animal Welfare Grants
Approximately three-quarters of Foundation grants support animal welfare initiatives, reflecting our commitment to protecting abused and neglected animals. We support rescue, rehabilitation, shelter, veterinary care, adoption services, cruelty prevention, and other direct services for abused, neglected, and vulnerable animals.
We are especially interested in organizations serving Clay County that combine compassion with accountability, strong leadership, and measurable outcomes.
Community Grants
Our community giving supports programs that improve quality of life for underserved individuals and families. Areas of interest include education, healthcare access, family support, housing stability, and pathways to self-sufficiency.
We look for partners whose work is practical, respectful, and capable of creating lasting improvement in people’s lives.
Grant Guidelines
The Foundation primarily makes grants to qualified nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our areas of focus.
- Organizations should be recognized as tax-exempt under IRS guidelines.
- Preference is given to programs demonstrating measurable impact and responsible stewardship.
- Priority is given to organizations serving animals and communities in Clay County and Northeast Florida.
- Funding priorities may vary from year to year, and unsolicited requests may not receive a response.

About The Moore Family Foundation
The Moore Family Foundation was established in 2016 by Chris, Mehgan, Katelyn, and Aiden Moore to reflect the values of the Moore family: compassion, service, responsibility, and stewardship.
Our work is intentionally focused. We believe philanthropy is most effective when it is personal, disciplined, and directed toward organizations doing meaningful work close to the needs they serve.
